Mubasher: Demand for the US long-lasting manufactured goods dropped in September, the US Census Bureau’s data showed on Thursday.
The volume of durable goods orders fell by 1.1% to $48.2 billion last September, after a revised uptick of 0.3% in August, the US Census Bureau said.
If vehicles and aircraft are excluded, the figures would show that orders edge down by 0.3% last month.
Shipments of manufactured durable goods declined by 1% to $252.5 billion last August.
Unfilled orders for durable goods barely recorded a change at $1.163 trillion, according to the data.
