Mubasher: The Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) subsidiary of Japanese imaging giant Canon announced that it will end its cloud photo service Irista by the end of January next year,

The imaging-solutions provider in its press release advised its Irista users to download their data before they are deleted after closing the service, laying out the process instructions on the service website.

Moving away from the cloud image storage industry, Canon EMEA will direct its focus, instead, on investing in its imaging technology and connected services for its cameras such as Canon image Gateway and Camera Connect.
