Nutanix enters into computing partnership with Hardis Group

Mubasher: Cloud computing software firm Nutanix on Tuesday unveiled a partnership with French digital services provider Hardis Group, according to the California-based company’s statement.

Hardis software Vision Insights is running as a container and is supported by Nutanix’s Xi IoT, for optimising the management of supply chain operations.

This new solution, within Hardis’ new Visions Insights and IoT Insights programmes, will help Nutanix’s customers handle common supply management challenges such as efficiency and traceability.

“With our joint solution, we’re helping customers improve the logistics performance in their factories, including upstream and downstream of their production lines, from the moment their components and raw materials arrive on-site, to storage and shipment of finished products,” Satyam Vaghani, Nutanix’s senior IoT and artificial intelligence (AI) vice president said.

Vision Insights customers will also be able to trace assets through real-time image monitoring and recognition.

Vision Insights will provide companies to tap into the potential of cognitive services, such as the Internet of things (IoT), edge computing and machine learning technology.

“Nutanix and its Xi IoT platform was the right partner to assist us in doing so,” Hardis Group’s CEO Nicolas Odet said.
