Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance, for the second session in a row, pushed by the growth of many sectors.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by 1.69%, or 129.07 points, ending the session at 7,782.28 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 108.4 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 2.83 billion.
The food and staples retailing sector topped the risers adding 8.45%, followed by the banking sector with 2.17%.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector increased by 1.51%, while the materials sector levelled up by 1.32%.
The REITs sector was the bourse’s only loser falling 0.05%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up by 2.85%, or 126.69 points, finishing the session at 4,575.11 points.
