Dubai – Mubasher: Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) posted a net profit attributable to shareholders worth AED 183,000 in the third quarter (Q3) of the year, against a loss of AED 672,000 in the same quarter in 2018.
Earnings per share (EPS) registered AED 0.0002 in Q3-19, versus losses per share of AED 0.0006 in Q3-18, according to a bourse statement on Monday.
Over the first nine months of 2019, net profit attributable to shareholders reached AED 32.580 million, up from AED 31.982 million a year earlier.
EPS came in AED 0.0274 in the January-September period from AED 0.0269 a year earlier, increasing by 1.86%.
It is worth noting that during the first half of 2019, the company logged AED 33.3 million in net profit, versus AED 31.8 million in the prior-year period.
