TASI ended Wednesday's trading session at 7,932.5 points

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) declined on Wednesday on the back of losses by the basic materials, banks, and energy sectors.

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed on a decline by 0.61% or 48.79 points to 7,932.5 points, after rising for four consecutive sessions.

Turnovers rose significantly compared with Tuesday’s session to 119.66 million shares, up from 112.32 million shares yesterday.

Traded values also increase to SAR 3.12 billion, up from SAR 3 billion in the previous session.

Al Rajhi Bank accounted for the higher liquidity with SAR 429.22 million, while Alinma Bank was the most actively traded stock with 17.85 million shares.

The session saw a decline of 155 shares, led by newly-listed Abo Moati and Thob Al Aseel, dropping 9.98% and 9.86%, respectively.

On the other hand, 29 stocks ended the session in the green zone, with Saudi Ceramic leading the gainers and rising by 4.84%.

Meanwhile, the parallel market main index (NOMU) dropped by 17.58% or 1153.8 points to end the session at the level of 5,410.44 points.
