Mubasher: Al Salam Group Holding said that the losses attributed to the shareholders of the parent company retreated by 89% to about KWD 39,873 during the third quarter ended 30 September when compared to nearly KWD 348,913 in Q3-18.

The negative financial statements were attributed to losses registered from the investments in sister companies, according to a recent bourse statement.  

The loss per share was down at 0.148 fils in Q3-19 from 1.29 fils during Q3-18.

As regards the first nine months in 2019, the group’s losses hiked by 40% to nearly KWD 403,500 when compared to about KWD 287,700 in the same period in 2018.     

During the first half of 2019, the losses reached KWD 363,600 which were up from KWD 61,200 profit a year earlier.
