Cairo – Mubasher: Golden Pyramids Plaza reported a decrease in profits by 42% during the first half (H1) of the current year, as shown by the company’s consolidated financial results.

Profits amounted to $10.44 million during H1-19, compared with EGP 18.05 million in the corresponding six-month period in 2018, according to a company statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

Meanwhile, revenues retreated to $53.17 million in H1-19 from $68.1 million in H1-18.

Standalone financial statements for the same period previously showed a 40.5% year-on-year (YoY) profit surge to $21.98 million.
