Dubai – Mubasher: DP World Sokhna signed a trilateral partnership agreement with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and China Ocean Shipping Company Limited (COSCO).

Under the deal, DP World Sokhna aims to be a hub for all imports of construction materials to be used in building the central business and financial district at Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, Dubai Media Office said in a statement on Sunday.

CSCEC is building 20 towers in the new capital, including what is planned to be Africa’s tallest tower.

DP World is expected finalise the expansion of the second basin at Ain Sokhna port by the second quarter of 2020, which will bring the port operator’s total investments in Egypt to $1.6 billion, DP World’s Middle East and Africa CEO and managing director Suhail Al Banna previously revealed.
