Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) was down by 0.40% or 20.35 points at the end of Monday’s trading session, closing at 5,023.04 points.

The turnover totalled AED 155.81 million after 43.70 million shares were traded through 1,139 transactions.

The ADX's market cap value tumbled by AED 2.39 billion, reaching AED 514.05 billion from AED 516.44 billion on Sunday.

The energy sector dropped by 1.14%, followed by the telecom sector by 0.85%.

Invest Bank came on top of the decliners with 9.63%, while AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company headed the gainers with 14.94%.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) showed the highest liquidity of AED 35.78 million, while Al Qudra Holding led the trading activity through 11.82 million shares.

As regards the blue chips, Dana Gas and Aldar Properties went down by 1.92% and 1.36%, respectively.
