ADX closes Tuesday down
The energy sector was down by 0.99%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged lower at the end of Tuesday’s trading session by 0.06% after losing 2.91 points, closing at 5,020.13 points.

The turnover recorded AED 143.04 million where 50.54 million shares were exchanged through 794 transactions.

The market cap value retreated by AED 420 million, registering AED 513.63 billion from AED 514.05 billion on Monday.

The energy sector was down by 0.99%, while the telecom sector levelled up by 0.12%.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) was the top decliner with 9.57%, while Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) was the top gainer with 14.86%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) saw the highest turnover of AED 38.32 million, while Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics (RAK Ceramics) led the trading activity with 15.62 million shares.

As for the blue chips, Aldar Properties and Dana Gas went down by 0.46% and 0.43%, respectively.
