EGX’s indices fall in December’s 2nd week
The EGX100 index sank 1.5%

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices went down in the week ended 12 December 2019, with market capitalisation lost EGP 8.5 billion.

The benchmark index, EGX30, declined by 263 points, or 1.9%, to 13,358 points, while the EGX70 index levelled down by 1.1% to 520 points.

The EGX100 index sank 1.5% to 1,360 points and the equally-weighted index, EGX50, shrank 2.4% to 1,920 points.

Market capitalisation decreased to EGP 686 billion over the week, compared to EGP 695.19 billion in the previous week.
