Gulf Air adds Kuala Lumpur to its destinations
Gulf Air became Bahrain’s national carrier in May 2007

Mubasher: Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, will add Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to its destinations network starting July 2020, with daily flights operated through Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Adding Kuala Lumpur to Gulf Air’s flights is part of the company’s boutique strategy to include tourist destinations in its carefully designed networks, according to a recent press release.

It is noteworthy that in November, Gulf Air, which flies to more than 40 destinations in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, added three new European destinations to its flights, including Italy’s Milano, Germany’s Munich, and Greece’s Mykonos.

Gulf Air had been the joint carrier of Bahrain, Oman, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar before becoming Bahrain’s national carrier on 6 May 2007.
