Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited standalone financial results of Al Ezz Dekheila Steel – Alexandria showed a turn to losses during the first nine months of 2019.

The company incurred net losses of EGP 462 million in the January-September period, against net profits of EGP 2.27 billion in the prior-year period, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the company’s sales retreated to EGP 26.4 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 28.19 billion in the corresponding period of 2018.

It is worth mentioning that the company’s standalone financials for the first half of 2019 reported net losses of EGP 29.641 million, versus net profits of EGP 1.611 billion in H1-18.
