UAE – Mubasher: A total of 2,126,417 people used public transportation in Dubai during the celebration of New Year's 2020, up 3.6% from the corresponding period last year, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced.

Dubai metro in its Red and Green lines and the tram transported 907,411 and 37,150 riders, respectively, while 689,212 commuters used taxi services and 52,123 people were transported by the marine transport modes.

At the same time, the number of public bus riders reached 440,521.
