Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued the executive regulations to the Mining Law No. 198/2014.

Under the new regulations, a newly-formed committee will decide on royalties for each raw material ranging from 5% to 20% of the annual production, according to a cabinet statement on Wednesday.

A quarterly meeting will be held by the new committee to decide on changes in rental rates of mines, resolve disputes related to the mining sector, and decide which materials are ineligible for export.
