Cairo – Mubasher: Exports by the Egyptian Financial and Industrial’s (EFIC) unit, Suez Company for Fertilizer Production, jumped 107% year-on-year in 2019.

The company’s exports rose to $29 million last year, compared to $14 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.

It is worth mentioning that the consolidated financial statements of EFIC showed a 44% year-on-year surge in its net profits during the first nine months of 2019.

At the level of standalone business, the company logged a net profit of EGP 54.5 million, dropping by 10% year-on-year from EGP 60.7 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
