Gulfa Mineral Water and Processing Industries Company topped 20 decliners

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) decreased by 1.16% or 32.66 points to 2,788.8 points by the end of Monday’s trading session.

A total of 151.04 million shares were traded through 2,970 transactions at a value of AED 196.45 million.

The market cap value declined by around AED 2.58 billion to AED 381.86 billion from AED 384.44 billion in the previous session.

As for the sectors, the investment and financial services, consumer staples, real estate, banks, and services dropped by 1.71%, 1.51%, 1.19%, 1.23%, and 0.62%, respectively.

Meanwhile, Gulfa Mineral Water and Processing Industries Company topped 20 decliners with 9.97%, while Aan Digital Services Co led 10 gainers with 8.56%.

Aan Digital Services Co was the most active stock with 51.63 million traded shares, while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), down 1.73%, posted the highest turnover of AED 52.83 million.

As for the losing blue chips, Arabtec Holding, Damac Properties, Dubai Investments, DXB Entertainments, Emirates NBD, and Emaar Properties declined by 9.73%, 2.41%, 2.22%, 1.6%, 1.09%, and 0.97%, respectively.
