Saudi-French Business Forum launches in Riyadh
The forum is hosted by the Council of Saudi Chambers

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi-French Business Forum was launched today at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) in Riyadh with the participation of around 200 companies.

The event reflects mutual keenness to elevate bilateral relations and creating more strategic partnerships across promising economic sectors, said the Chairman of CSC, Sami Al Abeedi.

Saudi-French relations are growing significantly, with France ranking as the ninth-largest trade partner to the Kingdom with around $10.4 billion in bilateral trade in 2018, according to Abdulrahman Al Harbi, Governor of the Saudi General Authority for Foreign Trade.

Meanwhile, France’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Francois Gouyette, said that French businesses seek to partake in the Saudi economic development process by cooperating with their Saudi counterparts; transferring expertise in technology, innovation and training.
