The health condition of those infected in UAE is stable

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Wednesday the first case of new coronavirus in the UAE, being the first to be unveiled in the Middle East.

This case was registered for members of a family arriving from the Chinese city of Wuhan, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The ministry added that “the health condition of those infected is stable and under medical observation", stressing that the country has taken "all the necessary precautions in accordance with the scientific recommendations, conditions and standards approved by the World Health Organisation," WAM added, citing the statement.

Reassuring the citizens, the UAE ministry highlighted that epidemiological investigation centres nationwide are working around the clock to early detect and report any cases of the virus.

It is noteworthy to mention that 5,974 confirmed cases of the virus, which emerged in Wuhan taking the lives of 132 people, were reported across China, China's National Health Commission (NHC) announced on Wednesday.
