Cairo – Mubasher: African Development Bank Group’s (AfDB) investments in Egypt reached $6.76 billion in over 100 projects in electricity, water and sanitation, and other fields, Ahram Online reported on Saturday.

The bank’s country manager in Egypt Malinne Blomberg praised the country’s advancing economic performance which had a positive impact on several economic indices.

The AfDB is seeking to increase developmental cooperation with Egypt in the coming period, Blomberg said during a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Rania El-Mashat.

The two sides discussed enhancing cooperation between the AfDB, Egypt, and other African countries.
