Mubasher: Nissan Motor Company will reportedly halt production at its manufacturing plant in the Japanese southwestern city of Kyushu starting from 14 February due to the coronavirus outbreak.
This is the first time an automaker in Japan is halting production due to concerns regarding the new virus, especially since it depends on some components coming from China, Reuters reported.
The production of around 3,000 vehicles could be affected by the decision to halt two production lines at the Kyushu factory.
Another production line is set to be halted beginning from 17 February.
