Cairo – Mubasher: The net profit before tax of Arab Drug Company recorded a 113% year-on-year surge during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2019/2020.

The company’s profit before tax soared to EGP 70.53 million from July 2019 to the end of January 2020, compared to EGP 33.1 million in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.

Net sales grew to EGP 320.487 million in the July-January period, from EGP 248.43 million a year earlier.

It is worth mentioning that the net profit after tax of Arab Drug surged 104% YoY to EGP 45.12 million during the first half of FY19/20.
