Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated financial results of Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) showed a marginal year-on-year (YoY) rise in profits to EGP 602.815 million during the first half of fiscal year 2019/2020 from EGP 585.6 million in the same period of fiscal year 2018/2019.

The bank reported a net income from return of EGP 1.015 billion in the July-December period of fiscal year 2019/2020, versus EGP 896.08 million in the same half of the previous fiscal year.

At the level of standalone businesses, the profits fell to EGP 541.3 million during the first six months of the current fiscal year from EGP 546.29 million in the corresponding period of the prior fiscal year.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first quarter of fiscal year 2019/2020, the bank’s profits reached EGP 275.37 million, down from EGP 302.8 million in the same period of fiscal year 2018/2019.
