Cairo – Mubasher: The listing committee of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has approved the increase of Delta Insurance’s authorised capital to EGP 500 million from EGP 150 million, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.

The committee also approved the hike in Delta’s issued and paid-up capital to EGP 126 million from EGP 120 million.

It is noteworthy that the insurer’s net profit hiked to EGP 86.57 million during the July-December period of 2019, compared to EGP 57.16 million in the prior-year period.
