Mubasher: Kuwait on Thursday confirmed that 17 new cases have tested positive for the China coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections to 43 in the Arabian Gulf country so far.

The new cases involved those who arrived from Iran, the country's health ministry said on its official Twitter page.   

Moreover, they are currently being kept in isolation as per approved protocols and are receiving proper medical care in a hospital that is well-equipped to handle the China virus cases.  

On Wednesday, Kuwait’s cabinet announced eight new decisions in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
