Cityscape Egypt postponed on coronavirus concerns
Egypt suspended all large public gatherings

Cairo – Mubasher: Cityscape Egypt, originally set to be held from 18 to 21 March, has been postponed as the government decided to halt all large public gatherings amid rising concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the leading exhibition organiser Informa Markets said.

In addition, Cityscape Egypt Conference & Awards, formerly set to run from 16 to 17 March, has also been put on hold, according to a statement on the official website of Cityscape Egypt on Wednesday.

We are in discussions with the venue, [Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC], to ensure Cityscape Egypt is the first major event to run in 2020 once things return to normal post-COVID19,” Informa Markets added.

On Monday, Egypt reported seven new cases of the new virus, bringing the total number of infections to 59.
