Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Telecom Company (stc) announced that 3,000 employees will start working remotely as of Sunday for two weeks, in line with efforts to combat the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
The initiative is also part of the company’s digital transformation strategy, according to a press release.
stc allow working mothers within its staff to work remotely last week, as schools have been closed with students completing their studies through the distance learning platform.
Over the last two years, stc has allowed each employee the right to work remotely for five days per month, according to Ahmed bin Musfer Al Ghamdi, the company’s vice president for human resources.
