Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) retreaded by 4.98% or 91.83 points to 1,750.77 points by the end of Tuesday’s trading session, keeping its downward performance for the third session in a row.
The turnover amounted to AED 339.86 million after332.25 million shares were traded through 5,799 transactions.
The market cap value declined by around AED 10.24 billion to AED 266.87 billion from AED 277.11 billion during the previous session,
The real estate sector fell by 9.49%, followed by investment and financial services and consumer staples with 8.87% and 7.05%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Emaar Development came on top of 23 losing stocks with 9.96%, while Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) headed three rising stocks with 7.80%.
Emaar Properties, down 9.95%, posted the highest trading volume of 42.96 million shares traded at a total value of AED 88.26 million.
