Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population reported 41 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and six deaths.

The new cases include 40 Egyptians, who were in contact with previously reported cases, and an American.

In addition, 14 people were discharged from quarantine, including 11 Egyptians and three French, bringing the total number of recoveries to 116.

The number of cases, whose lab test results changed from positive to negative, increased to 147, according to the ministry’s spokesperson.

The six death cases include five Egyptians aged 50 to 65 years, plus a 75-year old German woman.

Egypt has now recorded 536 COVID-19 cases, 116 recoveries, and 30 deaths, according to the health ministry’s daily report.
