Mubasher: Health authorities in Kuwait on Monday revealed that 11 new cases contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease during the past 24 hours to bring the country's total toll to 266 so far, according to an official statement by the health ministry.

Two of the newly detected patients are associated to travel to the UK and Saudi Arabia, while eight were in contact with previously reported cases. The remaining case is an Indian resident who is still under epidemiological investigation.

According to the disclosure, a total of 72 cases have recovered, 910 left the quarantine, while 13 are in the intensive care unit.
