Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday's negative session on a negative note, maintaining its downward performance on Monday, 30 March.

The main index retreated by 0.25% or 9.44 points to 3,734.69 points.

The market cap value decreased by around AED 340 million to AED 410.74 million, compared to AED 411.08 million during the previous session.

Turnover totaled AED 200.44 million after 73.34 million shares had been traded through 2,645 transactions.

Regarding the sector, the banks hit the top of the losers with 2.01%, while the real estate segment topped the winners with 3.96%.

Moreover, Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) led the red zone with 4.94%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance Company headed the green zone with 14.72%.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), down 4.93%, registered the highest turnover of AED 46.19 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 19.99 million shares.

Dana Gas led the rising blue chips with 6.54%.
