Emirates receives approval to resume limited flights
These flights will carry outbound travellers from the UAE

UAE - Mubasher: Emirates Airline has got approval of the concerned authorities to resume a limited number of passenger flights starting Monday, 6 April, the president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO of Emirates Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum announced.

These flights will carry outbound travellers from the UAE and Emirates SkyCargo will use these flights to support trade, Al Maktoum stated on his official Twitter account on Thursday.

Al Maktoum added: "Over time, Emirates Airline looks forward to the gradual resumption of passenger services in line with lifting of travel & operational restrictions, including assurance of health measures to safeguard our people & customers."

Notably, Emirates Airline suspended all inbound and outbound passenger flights as well as transit flights starting 25 March, as part of precautionary measures to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
