Cairo – Mubasher: The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) allocated $3 billion to support efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in member states, including Egypt, director of AfDB's Country Office, Malin Bloomberg, said.
In addition, Hani Salem Sonbol, CEO of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), revealed the allocation of $1.1 billion to finance trade in 2020 in order to enable Egypt to secure energy and food security requirements, according to a statement released by the Ministry of International Cooperation on Monday.
This came during a video conference meeting held by the minister of international cooperation Rania Al Mashat with leaders and representatives of international and regional developmental institutions.
