Mubasher: The general assembly of National Investments Company (NIC) approved distributing nine fils per share or 9% of the capital as cash dividends for the fiscal year (FY) 2019 as proposed by the board of directors. 

The distributions shall be to the shareholders registered on records at the end of the maturity date on 7 May 2020 and will be distributed on 14 May, according to a bourse statement on Monday.

By 2019 year-end, the net profit of NIC surged by 45.59% on an annual basis to reach KWD 10.73 million ($34.76 million), compared with KWD 7.37 million ($23.87 million).
