Mubasher: The Kuwaiti indices recorded negative performance at Thursday’s close as the All-Share and the Premier markets fell by 0.95% and 1.1%, respectively, and the Main and the BK 50 indices dipped by 0.57% and 0.89%, respectively.

The market’s turnover narrowed by 10.5% daily to stand at KWD 24.66 million when compared to KWD 27.54 million on Wednesday. However, the trading volume posted a 1.6% daily rise at a total of 128.03 million shares from 125.98 million yesterday.

At the sector level, the consumer services instrument headed six fallers with 1.94%, whereas the consumer goods segment led four risers with 1.2%.

IFA Hotels and Resorts led the red territory with 12.73%, whereas Wethaq Takaful Insurance topped the green territory with 10%.

Ahli United Bank – Bahrain (AUB Bahrain), down 5.32%, led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 52.62 million shares at KWD 9.45 million.
