DFM closes Tuesday's session on green
The market cap value rose by AED 980 million

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged up by 0.46% or 8.71 points to settle at 1,892.22 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session, reversing its negative performance on Monday.

The market cap value rose by AED 980 million to AED 278.52 billion, compared to AED 277.54 billion.

Around 113.62 million shares were traded through 2,943 transactions valued at AED 143.49 million.

The investment and financial services segment led the risers with 1.46%.

Al Madina for Finance and Investment headed 19 rising stocks with 5.88%, while Islamic Arab Insurance Company topped 11 losing stocks with 4.17%.

Amanat Holdings posted the highest trading volume of 15.28 million shares, while Dubai Islamic Bank recorded the highest turnover of AED 28.50 million.

Dubai Investments came on top of the rising blue chips with 1.82%, while Arabtec Holding led the losing blue chips with 2.16%.
