Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is exploring potential methods to settle EGP 250 billion worth of debts owed by the Egyptian National Railways (ENR), spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency said.

The total value of debts owed by ENR to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) amounted to EGP 100 billion, in addition to EGP 150 billion in government loans, according to a statement on Saturday.

This came during a meeting headed by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi with the prime minister Mostafa Madbouly and minister of transport Kamel El-Wazir.
