EGX, CBE announce 30 June holiday
Trading will be resumed on Thursday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will be closed for Tuesday, 30 June, on the occasion of the 30 June Revolution.

In addition, the bourse will also be shut down on Wednesday, 1 July, marking the beginning of a new fiscal year, according to a statement on Sunday.

Trading will be resumed on Thursday, 2 July.

In addition, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced that banks will be closed on Tuesday to commemorate the country's 30 June Revolution.

Banks with fiscal years ending on 30 June will also be shut down on Wednesday, 1 July, while those with fiscal years ending on 31 December will be reopened on Wednesday.
