Dubai – Mubasher: Aramex has inked a partnership agreement with Mubadala Healthcare to deliver medical supplies to the patients' doors across the UAE, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Under the partnership, Aramex will coordinate with hospitals under the portfolio of Mubadala Healthcare to distribute over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, prescription-only medicines, and nutritional feed among the patients recovering outside hospital facilities.

The agreement aims to ease the pressure on the healthcare system and contribute to fulfilling the UAE government's physical distancing measures by delivering critical medical supplies to 2,000 patients across the country.

The Chief Commercial Officer at Aramex, Anas Hijjawi, said: "Aramex has deployed highly specialized vehicles that are quality assured and temperature-controlled to deliver critical medical supplies and the fleet is equipped with the technology and protective gear to be able to carry out the deliveries with utmost safety and care."

Meanwhile, the Senior Vice President at Mubadala Healthcare, Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, remarked: "This collaboration expands our efforts that aim to reinforce the COVID-19 response through innovative solutions and services."
