UAE - Mubasher: A total of six Emirati banks were placed among the Middle East's top 25 banks for 2020, according to The Banker magazine.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) was ranked second in the magazine's list with a $20.79 billion capital, followed by Emirates NBD in the fifth position with $20.29 billion and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) in sixth place with $13.57 billion.

In addition, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) was placed in the 14th position with $7.94 billion capital, while Mashreq Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) were ranked 18th and 22nd, respectively.

Globally, FAB was selected in the 85th position on the magazine's top 1000 world banks list for 2020, followed by Emirates NBD, ADCB, and DIB, ranked 87th, 118th, and 187th, respectively.
