UAE - Mubasher: Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) has inked a partnership agreement with Motivate Media Group to create an AED 1 billion fund to support tech startups.

Through the partnership, the tech startups under Sheraa's portfolio will receive several services from Motivate, the region's leading content producer platform, such as advertising space in its magazine, digital marketing, and editorial support, according to a press release on Monday.  

Sheraa seeks to enable its tech startups to benefit from reputable marketing platforms to reach a wide range of audiences to recover.

Motivate will help Sheraa's tech startups to follow best practices in targeting audiences through its platforms, including Dubai’s first-ever magazine What’s On, Gulf Business, and Emirates Woman.

The CEO of Sheera, Najla Al Midfa, remarked: "Since the outbreak, Sheraa has been thinking and acting on its feet in order to design innovative strategies to provide targeted support to its entrepreneurial community."

Managing partner at Motivate, Ian Fairservice, said: "Motivate and Sheraa are committing a substantial fund in the form of advertising and marketing, to support UAE-SMEs across all platforms, during what we are referring to as a period of business revival."
