Boursa Kuwait indices end Monday in green
Traded values registered KWD 20.6 million

Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Monday’s trading on a higher note, despite banks disclosing the financial effect of the Central Bank of Kuwait’s (CBK) decision to delay loan instalments for six months.

The all-share index closed up by 0.06%, while the premiere market index added 0.05%.

Similarly, the main and BK main 50 indices gained 0.07% and 0.21%, respectively.

Traded values increased by 46.7% to KWD 20.6 million, up from KWD 14.04 million on Sunday.

Traded volumes levelled up by 0.82% to 104.62 million shares.

As for the market sectors’ performance, six indices closed in green, led by insurance, while four market sectors ended the session in losses, with consumer goods falling by 0.65%.

Warba Insurance was the highest rising stock, adding 7.87%, while Osoul Investment topped the decliners and dropped by 11.43%.

NBK registered the highest turnover with KWD 4.6 million, while AUB – Bahrain was the most actively traded stock with 19.96 million shares.
