Riyadh - Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), the benchmark index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), settled lower by 0.01% or 1.11 points at Thursday's close to reach 7,426.78 points.
The traded value amounted to SAR 5.15 billion today, down from SAR 6.09 billion a day earlier. Meanwhile, the trading volume registered 232.58 million shares, compared to 320.8 million.
The telecommunication services sector led 15 losers with 1.94%, whilst energy shed 0.08%. On the contrary, the banks and the materials sectors increased by 0.25% and 0.11%, respectively.
Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company headed the gainers with 6.96%, whereas Al Omran Industrial Trading Company came on top of the decliners with 9.69%.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development recorded the highest trading volume after exchanging 23.713 million shares, while Ash-Sharqiyah Development achieved the largest turnover of SAR 406.82 million.
Moreover, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed down by 1.5% to 8,145.47 points, losing 123.7 points.
Sumou Real Estate Company was the only riser by 0.42%, whereas Development Works Food (DWF) Company and Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company plunged by 4.03% and 2.33%, respectively.
