Riyadh – Mubasher: Najran Cement Company turned profitable in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, gaining net profits of SAR 32.96 million, against net losses of SAR 2.59 million in the same period in the previous year.

Year-on-year (YoY), revenue increased by 59.26% to reach SAR 121.453 million during the period ended on 30 June 2020, according to a stock exchange filing on Monday.

The positive Q2-20 results were helped by higher sales volume, lower sales costs per tonne, despite the effects of the precautionary measures taken to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.
