Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.62% or 27.09 points to close Thursday's trading session at 4,386.67, unlike its negative performance on Wednesday, 12 August.
Around 93.29 million shares were exchanged through 2,422 transactions at a total value of AED 185.51 million.
The real estate sector headed the risers with 3.17%, while the energy segment topped the decliners with 0.68%.
Eshraq Investments came on top of the green zone with 5.12%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the red zone with 5%.
Aldar Properties, up 3.39%, was the most active stock with 33.51 million shares traded at AED 60.80 million.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) topped the losing blue chips with 0.53%.
