Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO) offered on Thursday this year’s sixth tender to purchase 540,000 tonnes of animal feed barley for the period from November to December 2020.

SAGO Governor, Ahmad Al Fares, said the offered quantity is distributed on nine vessels; seven at the kingdom’s ports in the Red Sea and two at the ports of the Persian Gulf, according to an official statement.

This tender is an extension of the kingdom’s plan to meet the local demand and preserve local inventories.

Previously, Saudi Arabia’s main state wheat buying agency agreed to buy five shipments of 4.5 million tonnes.
