Riyadh – Mubasher: Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom, said that the Saudi Ministry of Health has put in place strong measures to reopen the holiest sites for Umrah pilgrims during COVID-19.
Adhanom noted the WHO is grateful for Saudi Arabia’s leadership and support to the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator, he tweeted on his official Twitter page on Tuesday.
On Monday, Saudi health authorities reported 381 new coronavirus cases, 357 recoveries, and 16 deaths.
