Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits of Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) increased by 9% to AED 63.92 million during the first nine months of 2020 from AED 58.59 million in the year-ago period.

The company's net earned contributions reached AED 127.88 million in the January-September period of 2020, down from AED 153.61 million in the same period of 2019, according to the company's interim financials for the period ended on 30 September 2020.

The company's takaful income decreased to AED 96.81 million in the first nine months of 2020 from AED 118.3 million in the corresponding period of 2019.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at AED 0.64 in the January-September period of 2020, compared to AED 0.59 in the same period of the previous year.

It is noteworthy to mention that in the first half (H1) of 2020, ADNTC grew by 4% to AED 46.3 million, when compared to the same period of 2019.
