Dubai – Mubasher: Air Arabia has inked a comprehensive nine-year agreement with CFM International, which will provide time and material support to the airline’s fleet of six LEAP-1A-powered A321neo aircraft.

The agreement reinforces the airline's relations with CFM, a joint venture between GE Aviation and Safran Aircraft Engines, according to a press release on Tuesday.

This relation includes a fleet of 52 CFM56-powered A320ceo aircraft and six A321neos-LR.

Air Arabia, the Middle East's first LEAP-powered A321neo operator, currently operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft to serve five hubs in the UAE, Morocco, and Egypt.

The President and CEO of CFM International, Gaël Méheust, said: "Air Arabia’s continued accomplishments, as perfectly illustrated by its recent ranking as world’s number one on Airfinance Journal’s list of top 100 global airlines, is a direct result of its tireless commitment to excellence across its entire operations."
